MMR Driverless

As team leader for the driverless division of a Formula Student project, I was responsible for coordinating the development of an autonomous vehicle: sensor systems, trajectory tracking, and skidpad performance.

What I did:

  • Sensor system development — led the design and integration of the perception sensor stack, built around the XSens platform.
  • Stanley controller implementation — implemented and tuned the Stanley trajectory-tracking controller so the vehicle could follow a predefined path with high precision.
  • Skidpad optimization — analyzed the vehicle’s behavior on the skidpad and worked with the team on trajectory planning and control strategies to improve lap performance.
